The German Village Guest House is sponsoring a garden party gala benefit, “Tea43206,” Saturday 27 August 2011, 4 ~ 7 p.m. rain or shine. This inaugural event features live music, a silent auction, best hat contest and photos with surprise celebrity guests! We will be serving a fine selection of tea, wine and elegant hors d’oeuvres and pastries. The proceeds will benefit a new designated Fund for Historic Preservation at the German Village Society. The Fund will be used for projects such as the development of a comprehensive plan for signage in the German Village historic district, development of printed and online historic preservation educational materials and Society archives management.
