We're going to be putting up a bat house (or bat box as some call it) for mosquito control at the Guest House. No more chemicals.

The German Village Guest House is sponsoring a garden party gala benefit, “Tea43206,” Saturday 27 August 2011, 4 ~ 7 p.m. rain or shine.
Our first event will feature live music, a very special silent auction, a best hat contest that you will not want to miss entering and photos with many wonderful celebrity guests! We will serve tea, wine and that tastiest of tea sandwiches and pastries. Proceeds benefit a designated Fund for Historic Preservation at the German Village Society. The Fund will be used for the development of a comprehensive plan for signage in the German Village historic district, development educational materials and archives management.
